Ground up development provides senior housing community in St. Louis’ Near Southside neighborhood.

Blocks from St. Louis’ historic Lafayette Square, the Les Chateaux Senior Community project involved construction of a three-story, 62-unit building, a three-story, 40-unit building, and a community center for seniors. Financed by HUD and low-income housing tax credits, the apartment buildings include masonry façades and multi-gabled roofs. The project also included sewer work, site improvements, parking lot, entry gate, and retaining wall.
