Preserving 26 buildings in one of St. Louis’ oldest neighborhoods.

Located on St. Louis’ north side, the Hyde Park neighborhood is home to some of St. Louis’ oldest buildings. Having built or renovated many structures in the area over the years, we were delighted to again work with Better Living Communities and ND Consulting to preserve architectural heritage and provide affordable housing. Financed with both historic preservation and low-income housing tax credits, the Hyde Park South development included the gut renovation of 26 existing buildings, comprising 50 rental apartments and 2 commercial spaces. Renovations included significant masonry restoration, all new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, roofs, historic windows, and finishes. The development also included an extensive sitework package.
