42-unit senior living facility and bank are cornerstones of strategic revitalization plan for this St. Louis suburb.

Following closely on the heels of Pagedale, Missouri’s first grocery store in decades, the new Pagedale Senior Living and Midwest BankCentre were likewise the first of their kind in many years for one of St. Louis’ poorest suburbs. Comprising phase two of the multi-year Page Avenue Town Center redevelopment initiative, and financed with a mix of low-income housing tax credits, new market tax credits and private financing, this project included construction of a 42-unit apartment building for seniors, with 38 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom apartments, community rooms, beauty shop, exercise room, private offices, and bank space with drive through. The project scope included construction of a four-story, slab-on-grade, panelized, wood frame structure with brick veneer, Hardie plank siding, a flat roof with TPO membrane, and a sitework package consisting of new utilities, fencing, and landscaping. The project received Enterprise Green Communities Certification.
